Michael Vittatoe, Founder

In 2005, Michael Vittatoe co-founded what is now 1st Advantage Mortgage with a vision of building a mortgage company rooted in honesty, integrity, and service. With no blueprint other than a passion to help others, Michael set out to create opportunities for both clients and teammates. His goal has always been clear—empower people with little or no industry experience to build successful careers, while providing families with access to competitive mortgage solutions that make homeownership possible.

James Scott, Founder

James Scott helped launch 1st Advantage Mortgage in 2005 with the belief that a mortgage company should focus on people over profits. Dedicated to serving clients and supporting loan officers, James built the company around respect, mentorship, and ethical lending. His commitment to developing talent and offering borrowers transparent, affordable home loan options has shaped 1st Advantage Mortgage into a trusted partner for both first-time buyers and seasoned homeowners across multiple states.

At first i worked with another lender I described everything about my situation planned to buy a house at first they feel very  nice after that they denied my application they knew that its gonna be tough, they not trusted my work. After I found Kevin and his team Nathan they were great, i recommended at first im so hesitated to ask when I need help with something I didn't understand after that i feel comfortable to asked.
